Pandit Pran Nath Centennial Celebration and Raga Weekend
This is a very special weekend retreat in Camptonville, California,
celebrating the 100 birthday anniversary of Indian master vocalist, Pandit
Pran Nath. Pandit Pran Nath was the extraordinary Kirana vocalist who has
been the guru to LaMonte Young, Terry Riley John Hassel, my self and many
others. There will be raga singing classes led by Terry Riley, Michael
Stirling and Rik Masterson. I will be teaching classes on raga and tala for
instrumentalists and vocalists. This  weekend of workshops, films and
celebration will culminate with a concert on Sunday at the Camptonville
Community Center.
