I am excited to invite you to two very special concerts.

On Friday, the 26th we will be performing here in our hometown of Berkeley

and Saturday, the 27th at the LA County Museum of Art (LACMA).



At both concerts we are offering a musical tribute to my dear friend and
mentor, Terry Riley, in celebration of his 81st birthday. Joining me will
be *pianist* *Osam Ezzeldin*, and south Indian *violinist/vocalist,* *Ganesh
Rajagopalan *to present a program of original works inspired by Riley's
unique synthesis of jazz, minimalism and Indian classical music.



Friday’s concert is at the intimate Berkeley Arts Festival venue on
University Ave -- right in downtown.

On Saturday we will perform in the Agnes Martin Gallery at LACMA.

Agnes Martin’s beautiful work, which moves between abstract expressionism
and minimalism will provide a particularly inspiring environment for this
program.
