*On Monday October 20th I will be performing at Yoshis in Oakland with two
wonderful artists, on sarode, Alam Khan <http://www.alamkhan.com/> and on
tabla, Salar Nader. <http://salarnader.com/> Together we will perform the
premiere of Ghalib, my new composition inspired by the writings of 18th
century Sufi poet Mirza Ghalib. We will also perform works by Alam Khan
and by Alam’s illustrious father Ali Akbar Khan.*
