performing at Yoshis in Oakland with two wonderful artists, on sarode, <a href="http://www.alamkhan.com/">Alam Khan</a> and on tabla, <a href="http://salarnader.com/">Salar Nader.</a> Together we will perform the premiere of <i>Ghalib, </i>my new
composition inspired by the writings of 18^th century Sufi poet Mirza
Ghalib.  We will also perform works by
Alam Khan and by Alam’s illustrious father Ali Akbar Khan.</span></b></p>
