Led by saxophonist/composer George Brooks, anchored by the  
extraordinary drummers Zakir Hussain and Steve Smith, and featuring  
the beautiful guitar and bass of Fareed Haque and Kai Eckhardt,  
Summit plays a unique brand of fascinating yet accessible jazz,  
inspired by the rhythmic complexity and melodic depth of North Indian  
raga. Jazz and Raga represent two of the world’s richest and most  
highly developed improvised art forms.
