Utilizing My Source to Benefit Your Station and Community
Introduction
CPB's Public Awareness Initiative (PAI) is providing two types of
training opportunities for stations ready to take advantage of the My
Source platform in their communications and engagement activities. This
training will illustrate the benefits of using My Source to:
* Communicate the relevance of your station
* Engage your community
* Integrate with your other key activities, and
* Help align station operations to community needs and values.
2008 My Source Training Events
1. Workshops will provide "hands-on" experience in using My Source as a
strategic and tactical component of your station's activities.
2. Web Seminars will provide an interactive learning experience in the
effective use of My Source tools and other resources as a strategic and
tactical component of your station's activities.
Workshops
The first My Source Workshop (for PTV stations and joint licensees) will
be held in Chicago, IL on June 26-27, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.

adjacent to the PRDMC in Orlando, FL on July 16, 2008. The deadline for
the Radio/Joint Licensee workshop is Friday, May 30, 2008.
Who Should Attend?
