[NFCB] (GEN) Program Guide

E-newsletters and email blasts are great tools but at this time we plan to
continue to print and mail KBUT's newsletter/program guide. The key is to
look at your cost/benefit ratio and do it in a way you can afford. We send
ours out biannually about a month before our summer and winter pledge
drives. It's 8 letter-size pages (folded in half for mailing) and only
2-color. We have consistently worked with a printer who will trade the
expense or one who supports the station as a cash underwriter. There are
still costs, but a printed guide has the following benefits:

Listeners like it.
It raises awareness about the upcoming drive and provides a form for mail-in
memberships.
It serves as a perk for underwriters who are listed in the guide.
It provides promotional material to share with funders and policy makers.
