Re: REMINDER: ContentDepot Users Summit and Availability of Audio Stream
 
 
 
On Friday, April 4, 2008, NPR Distribution will hold a PRSS ContentDepot
Users Summit that will bring together our advisory group of ContentDepot
users from the station and producing communities. An online audio stream
of the meeting will be available from 8:00 am EDT to 4:00 pm EDT, with a
one-hour break from 12:00 pm tp 1:00 pm for lunch. Listeners can also
email comments and questions for discussion, either before or during the
summit, and we will incorporate selected emails into the discussion. The
agenda for the Users Summit will be posted to Basecamp tomorrow (4/1).
 
 
 
The summit is aimed at providing a forum to discuss real-world
experiences with the ContentDepot and to determine the priorities for
the next phase of work on the system. This meeting is a follow-on to the
ContentDepot Users Summit, held a year ago, which defined the work
necessary to retire the legacy distribution system. 
 
 
 
NPR Distribution will post a link to the audio stream on its Web site,
found at www.prss.org, on the morning of April 4. Please email your
