Hi there. For those of you who've been waiting for this Manager's Listserv since the conference, my apologies - there's been some adjusting to do here since Kathryn moved on, so it's only just now that this new listserv has gotten off the ground.

Okay, I'm assuming you're all familiar enough with the existing NFCB list, and you should have all received your confirmation emails with passwords, etc. by now, so I just want to bring up a couple of things - subscriptions to this list will be limited to ONE PER STATION. This is not negotiable. We understand the demand for a managers-only list, and we hope you'll understand that we can only devote so much staff time to managing it. First option for each station will be the contact person we have listed in our member database - if that person contacts us and asks to be subscribed, we'll go ahead and do so. If someone who is not the the manager listed in our database makes the request, the subscription process will be delayed until an inquiry has been made to the station. 

The next few months can be considered the trial run of this list. If people are finding it useful and there's significant traffic, then we're happy to make it a going concern. If there's not much traffic and it doesn't add any value, then we'll have to consider discontinuing it. We'll be depending largely on your feedback when making this decision, so please let us know what you think of the service.

In all technical respects, this list functions exactly the same as the existing NFCB list. Thanks, and feel free to contact me directly if there's anything else I can help you with.
