Subject: GARDNER LUNCH in DC - 05/29

Hi all,

The John Gardner Fellowship Association is planning a lunch honoring past and present Gardner mentors and fellows in Washington, D.C. on May 29. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the Fellowship and initiate new connections among Gardner mentors and fellows.

This lunch replaces the previously announced reception for the same date. Like before, however, the event will be hosted by Kathleen Q. Abernathy, a former Gardner mentor and current board member of the John Gardner Fellowship Association. Kathleen previously served as a FCC Commissioner and now is a partner at Akin Gump.

So that we can identify a downtown D.C. restaurant space suitable for the lunch, please invite your mentor if applicable and let us know if they or you are interested in attending no later than Monday, May 5. RSVPs should be directed to me at jennie.b.chandra at windstream.com.

Many of you already sent mentor addresses to Megan. If you haven't, please let her know the current snail mail and e-mail address for your Gardner mentor especially if s/he is in Washington, DC. Email Megan directly at megan.fogarty at stanford.edu.

I will send out specifics regarding time and place of the lunch once I have a tentative headcount.

Thanks,
Jennie Chandra
