JGFA Members:

We are excited to announce the next JGFA Roundtable Discussion has been set
for Thursday, April 10th, 2008 at 5:00 ET/2:00PT.

The title of the discussion, which features Catherine Milton, will be "The
Promise of National Service". Many of you know Catherine from her days at
Stanford when she was the Director and driving force at the Haas Center for
Public Service. She left Stanford to lead the launch of AmeriCorps on the
national level during the Bush and Clinton administrations.

Currently, Catherine is working with think tank leaders in Washington DC to
put together option papers for the expansion of national service during the
next administration. The papers will be discussed at a major national
service summit sponsored by Time Magazine in September and co-chaired by
Colin Powell and Carolyn Kennedy and co-sponsored by national
organizations. Organizers are working closely with key Senators
(bi-partisan) and candidates to develop ideas that have a good chance of
being implemented.

Catherine will share with us her thoughts on this movement to expand
service and will engage the group in a lively discussion about the promise
of national service in the future.

In order to plan for the event, we'd appreciate if you would email
megan.fogarty at stanford.edu to reserve your spot.

Act today -- block the time out on your calendar and join us for this JGFA
exclusive event!

The call in number will be 877-299-7459 and the Meeting ID is 9906.

Regards,
Sean
