[Jgfamembers] Gardner Reception - Reply Needed

JGFA Members:

The John Gardner Fellowship Association (JGFA) is planning a reception honoring
Gardner mentors and fellows on the evening of Thursday, May 29, at the
law office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, D.C. The
event will be hosted by former Gardner mentor Kathleen Q. Abernathy,current 
JGFA board member.  Kathleen previously served as a FCC Commissioner and now is a 
partner at Akin Gump.  Jennie Berry Chandra (2001) is playing a lead role with Kathleen.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate the Fellowship and initiate
new connections among Gardner mentors and fellows. While this reception
may reunite some fellows with their former mentors, we urge fellows and
mentors to join us even if their specific Gardner counterparts are
unable to attend. 

*To plan this event in earnest we need the following from you by Friday,
April 18 (please email your responses to megan.fogarty at stanford.edu):*

* The current title (if possible) and work address and email for your
Gardner mentor

* Will you be in the DC area on May 29 and able to attend?


We will get back to you with a formal invitation you can forward
personally to your mentor!
