[Jgfamembers] Looking for housing in NYC

Hi Gardner Fellows!

I'm one of the new fellows for 2007-2008 and have just decided on a
placement (Human Rights First) in New York City. I'm now in search of
housing for the year (mid-September through July '08). I'm hoping to live in
Manhattan and am interested in anything that is safe and affordable (on a
Gardner stipend!), including:
- apartment (studio or 1 bedroom)
- shared apartment (female roommates only)
- sublet (furnished would be great!)

If you can offer any information along these lines, or know someone who can,
please let me know! Feel free to forward this email to others who you think
may be interested/able to help.

I've also never lived in NYC or on the east coast for that matter, and would
be interested in any relevant advice you may wish to share. If you'll be in
the area next year, let me know too!
