Haas staff,
I'm passing this all on to you in hopes that you will all pass it on 
to anyone and everyone you know who
will want to contribute a letter to the Stamp Advisory Committee to 
get John W. Gardner on a US Stamp!
Posted next to the copier in the 1st floor workroom there are address 
labels that you can us to send a letter and additional information 
about the project.

The US Postal Service is presently giving consideration to issuing 
stamps that represent its history, its culture and the personalities 
that have made it what it is.  The name John W. Gardner looms on the 
list of distinguished people that may be featured.  To help encourage 
the Citizen's Stamp Advisory Committee to adopt this historial 
personality several national organizations are encouraging members 
and leaders throughout the country to endorse the idea with a letter. 
You can make a contribution to this effort by sending a letter to 
ensuer a positive outcome. Write to...
