There are a few tickets left for this Saturday's public memorial
celebration for my dear friend and renowned poet Michael McClure.

Admission is FREE but registration is required.

Strict COVID protocols will be in place.

Please join us for music, poetry and a celebration of Michael's life and
artistic legacy. Among the artists honoring him are Juvenal Acosta, George
Brooks, Garrett Caples, Clark Coolidge, Peter Coyote, Jack Foley, Henry
Kaiser, Elaine Katzenberger, Paul Nelson, Gyan Riley, Michael Rothenberg,
Andrew Schelling, Rebecca Solnit, Frank Wildman, and other wonderful guests.

We'll gather in his memory at one of Michael's favorite places, California
Shakespeare Company's beautiful outdoor amphitheatre.

   - Cal Shakes Information:
   - The gate opens at noon. Food is available from the on-site cafe, or
   bring your own and enjoy a picnic at one of the tables in the shady
   eucalyptus groves.
   - A golf cart shuttle is available if you need assistance from the
   parking lot to the venue.
   - The venue is located in sunny Orinda, so come prepared for hot
   weather. But, later in the day it could cool down quickly.
   - Seating is abundant but limited, so prior registration is advised.

The event is open to the public, your friends and family are welome.

COVID-19 Policy: Before entering, all guests must show either proof of full
vaccination or a negative test within the preceding 72 hours. Masks are
required for everyone.
