[Gbrooks-promo] New Video "Karuna" and and Live Masterclass

New Years Greetings to all -

As a citizen of the US, it is difficult at this time to focus on anything
other than how to restore sanity to our nation, and wrest control from
those who have aided and abetted our despicable president, while fanning
the flames of racism, xenophobia, misogyny and white supremacy.

Fortunately our democracy is still intact, if only hanging by a
thread...and the presidency, senate and house appear to be in the hands of
those who will move towards creating a more equitable and just society.

It hasn't been easy this past year....but as artists we continue our work
and strive to uplift and inspire whenever possible and comfort and heal
when necessary.

To that end I offer this new recording of "Karuna" -- a word that in
Sanskrit means compassion.
It is dedicated to the late Sri Karuna-mayee of New Delhi...a friend and
mentor and senior disciple of my teacher Pandit Pran Nath. This video was
created remotely with pianist Utsav Lal in Brooklyn, NY and myself in
Berkeley, CA.
