10th at 7pm* with
*Alam Khan (sarode)  *and *Nilan Chaudhuri (tabla)* at the *Swedenbourgian
Church, **2107 Lyon St. San Francisco*.

I just visited the venue for the first time --
It is a beautiful, historical and intimate space with what should be
excellent acoustics.
We look forward to sharing our music with you in this lovely environment.

*Alam Khan* is the son of esteemed Sarode maestro *Ali Akbar Khan,* whose
San Rafael based *College of Music <https://aacm.org/> *has been the center
for Indian classical music in the west since the 1960s. Alam's grandfather
was* Baba Allauddin Khan*, one of the 20th century's most notable
composers, instrumentalists and teachers of Indian classical music.

*Nilan Chaudhuri* is the son of *Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri, *one of India's most
beloved and respected tabla masters.

This concert is being presented in the spirit of collaboration initiated by
Ali Akbar Khan.

Sunday" series will benefit
Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco <https://www.ywcp.org/>, Nature
in the City <http://natureinthecity.org/>, and Canine Companions for
