Please join us this *Saturday, June 25t*h at the Stanford Jazz Festival for
exciting *Indian Jazz Journe*y featuring violin virtuoso *Kala Ramnath*,
Cuban drumming phenomenon (and Macarthur Fellow) *Dafnis Prieto*, Egyptian
born piano virtuoso *Osam Ezzeldin* and myself on saxophone.

*Kala Ramnath *is an extraordinary violinist, vocalist and composer who has
been thrilling audiences world-wide since the tender age of 12. Kala has
performed at major concert halls throughout the world and collaborated with
India's most prominent artists, as well as dance visionary Alonzo King and
major European Orchestras. Kala just returned from the UK where she was
featured as soloist and composer with the *London Philharmonic*. Her
composition "Alap and Tarana" was featured on last year's *Grammy
winning *Hilary
Hahn CD.
