Joining me are three extraordinary musicians.... classical Indian
violinist Kala

I will be performing the Stanford Jazz Festival with an extraordinary
line-up featuring the father-son percussion team of *Vikku Vinayakram* and
*V.* *Selvaganesh* along with *Kai Eckhardt* on bass and *Osam Ezzeldin* on
piano.



Vikku-ji was the founding percussionist of Shakti along with Zakir Hussain,
John McLaughlin and L.Shankar. His son, Selvaganesh now holds the
percussion chair in that remarkable ensemble.

Berkeley based Wide Hive record label. I am pleased to say that I am
featured on 4 of the tracks of this great live recording entitled *Heavy
Feel*
