Youth Theater presents In and Out of Shadows at the Brava Theater in San
Francisco....the timing couldn't be better. Based on interviews with
undocumented Bay Area youth and featuring the music of Emily Klion and
George Brooks.

*What does it cost to DREAM? Let la gente know!*
                  What is a DREAMer?
DREAMers are young people living in the United States who immigrated as
children, either with families–or on their own. They're dreaming for a
secure place in this society. There are nearly 12 million undocumented
immigrants in the US; 1.5 million are under the age of eighteen.

*Gary Soto's In and Out of Shadows *is based on interviews with Bay Area
DREAMers, whose voices ring loud and true as they sing, dance and speak
about how it feels to be undocumented.

Yesterday, President Obama announced an Executive Order

shielding four million undocumented immigrants from deportation. *But that
order does not extend to the parents of DREAMERs who were not born in the
USA.*
