Shweta Jhaveri is one of this centuries celebrated performers of  
Indian vocal music. On November 3rd and November 5th she will join  
forces with renowned saxophonist, composer George Brooks for an  
evening of raga inspired jazz and jazz flavored, classical Indian music.

George and Shweta will be accompanied by award winning pianist/ 
composer Jack Perla and young tabla master Debopriyo Sarkar.



North Indian Raga and American jazz are both art forms based on a  
tradition of inspired improvisation. The music is created in the  
moment and no two performances are the same. George and Shweta last  
performed live together in 2001. We eagerly anticipate these reunion  
concerts.
